Overall, this is a great tool which does exactly what it says it does. ![]() Those rarely have nice clients (especially on mobile) and are a pain to setup and maintain, plus they rarely support downloading files on websites that require a login. While this is not exactly a full-fledged download manager (when delegating downloads to other apps, because you have no way to track download progress then), it's still much nicer to use than anything else I've tried, including popular open source projects such as aria2 and more. Remote download managers are common on NAS OSes but a rarity on macOS. It also makes using a Mac as a NAS much nicer. It means I can always download files to the most appropriate Mac from anywhere in a quick and seamless manner. The fact that there is no concept of "server" and "client" is great. It could not be simpler to setup, yet actions allow advanced use cases such as delegating specific downloads to other apps (Transmission, Downie, etc.). The way everything is connected and synced in real time using iCloud is magical, in addition to being private.
